The Princess and the Frogby LordAlphie

Flash / Interactive©2009-2015 LordAlphie
Ok, it seems it doesn't work on m webcam, so probably DA doesn't allow webcam pictures to be .swf files...
By clicking on the logo, you'll be redirected to the official site.

Also, if you're curious to see some sneak peak, here's a video interview to John Lasseter with few seconds from the movie (Baby Tiana and the marsh, but it actually shows the best part towards the end).

[link]

It is breath taking to see that magnificent 2D animation. And it is fantastic to hear John Lasseter saying "It is the return to classic Disney animation, it's spectacular!"

The magic did come back. Then it went away again cause Disney sucks like that.

I've missed 2D animation more than I can say. :aww:

2D animation is beautiful, CGI and 3D is not superior at all, they are two different artforms. I can't wait to see The Princess and the Frog!

Exactly, and we need to support the movie. It MUST be a hit!

But only if it's good, it isn't the 2D form of the movie that makes it popular or not, it's if it actually is scripted well etc. I think the biggest misconception is that 'it's the 2D style's fault' but that isn't justified at all, think of all of the CGI flops.

:iconlordalphie:

Well, I mean that we must support it anyway (good or not) if we really want to see Disney making other 2D features. Disney can't face another flop.
By the way, I feel like 3D animation too is facing quite a bad period. Maybe it's just a term of over-exposition (and this may be good for the Princess and the Frog) or simply fair competition.

i agree it's breath taking !
and although 3d animation (especially done by pixar) is beautiful... i still think there's something missing compared to disney's 2d animated features. I'm sooooo happy and exited about the princess and the frog, i can't wait till the 11th of december 2010 !

I really want to see this movie.

It's really fustrating sometimes see every "cartoon" movie that comes to the show CGI not saying that I don't like it but I don't know it bothers me. But anyway like I said I really can't wait.
Classic indeed

New Orleans, l'atmosfera... The Princess and the Frog"!
